History: Horse has not been vaccinated since he was a foal. The problem reported by his owner was that he has not eaten for several days and demonstrates instability. If he tries to move, he loses his balance and falls to the ground. Any attempt to control or elicit movement upset his equilibrium.

Physical Examination: As described above, Horse was nervous about our presence and lost his balance easily. We carefully used a lead rope for restraint while I extracted blood samples for a West Nile Virus titer. ETA revealed only a cerebellar weakness, but we suspected an underlying viral infection based on previous experiences with similar cases.

Findings

NAET

10/15/04

The ataxia is indicative of West Nile Viral infection.

Testing revealed only a cerebellar weakness. HT was applied for six hours via a Witness. Phenylbutazone administered orally.

10/16/04

Testing via witness revealed presence of viral infection (WNV). HT via witness initiated. Mechanical.

10/20/04

Owner contacted by telephone: “Wasn’t WNV. He’s doing fine now.” (WNV substantiated two weeks after initial exam by blood test.)

Harmonic Translation will be continued.

Besides oral phenylbutazone for 24 hours, Horse’s only therapy was administration of the energy from appropriate nutritional supplements delivered remotely by application of Harmonic Translation for six hours on the first day, and 30 minutes daily thereafter for thirty days.

When we called the owner to check on Horse’s condition the next day. He said that “It couldn’t have been the West Nile Virus because Horse is walking and eating normally today, and he would not have recovered at all if it had been the virus.” Horse seemed to have recovered completely.

When the test results were returned, Horse showed a high titer to West Nile Virus.
