Case Report #1 - Tilly the Jersey Cow |
Summary: “Tilly” became lame in the left rear leg after arriving at her new home. Tilly was treated conventionally at first with no improvement. When ETA was employed, it revealed presence of viral infection which was associated with skin tumors and skeletal connective tissue. Treatment with HTS produced almost immediate improvement. |
At the time of our last visit, Tilly had responded as expected: Viruses were eliminated and chemical accumulation had been detected and was being addressed. The duration needed for chemical elimination could not be accurately determined because there was an unavoidable delay in the testing. History: Somehow, Tilly may be related to the feline species in at least one respect: she has received more than the customary allotment of lives normally bestowed upon bovines. We met Tilly at a petting Ranch where she had been recently adopted. Normally adult cattle are not kept as pets but are sacrificed to produce hamburger. School children were delighted by Tilly’s peaceful nature. Unfortunately, the petting ranch which adopted Tilly ran into financial difficulties when the budget for state funding of field trips for students was cut, and the owner planned to sell all of the livestock for slaughter. Again, fate intervened! One of the volunteers at the Petting Ranch (a grade school principal) offered to buy Tilly and other animals to save them from destruction. Until May 31, 2002, we had only provided maintenance for Tilly, consisting of periodic vaccinations and worming and wound management. |
Note: Even though Tilly’s ETA session indicated she probably still has chemicals to be cleared, evidently her condition has improved so well that her new owner decided to discontinue treatment. Last we heard, Tilly was still going strong and was not limping. |

[Note: within a few days of last exam, Tilly began walking better and better until limping stopped. She was turned out into a pasture with other animals. Scheduling problems delayed the 30 day re-check until 10/26/2. Owner: “Tilly has been walking very well.” Recently owner noticed that her left hip is much lower than the right hip.” |
